Light Brown Apple Moth

Adult Photos

There is a wealth of information on the LBAM, both on the web and in publications from countires such as Australia and New Zealand, where the moth is already known to occur. I have been contacted by several individuals for permission to use an image of the LBAM from this site on informational brochures, etc. The images below can be used for such purposes and are of much higher quality than the photo that is found in the database. Please email me if you plan to use these images and give proper photo credits. Also keep in mind that this moth is EXTREMELY variable, so it is impossible to represent all phenotypes with just one photo. NOTE: the scale bar denotes the length of one forewing.
